Access Granted to Global Powder Metallurgy Property Database

Granta Design and the MPIF have recently announced that the revolutionary Global Powder Metallurgy Property Database will soon be made available as a data module within the Granta information system, an announcement that has been viewed favourably by several metal powders suppliers.

The database itself is built up by over 3,500 lines of data that help provide physical, mechanical and durable statistics for hundreds of materials that are relevant to powder metallurgy.

The expansion of the database is particularly suited to those companies who specialise in designs that require porosity or single process production of complex parts. The information held within the database regarding the powders, will allow producers and suppliers to compare several materials that assist their design and engineering teams in order to make informed decisions.

Due to the high quality of today"s metal powders and the wide range of powder metal products, the introduction of a database that breaks down the information into easy to follow physical data is optimistically predicted to increase efficiency for both supply and production.

William Rowland Ltd are metal powder suppliers, and if you would like to find out how we can meet your requirements, please contact us using the Quick Enquiry Form on the right-hand side of this website.
