Increased Vanadium Resources at Monte Peake, Australia

Although only preliminary, results of an ongoing drilling programme at the Monte Peake iron-vanadium project in Australia's Northern Territory are expected to see a rise in its vanadium resources.

Estimations show that mine life at Monte Peake should last up to 24 years, producing 4,703 tonnes of ferro-vanadium. With this in mind, Monte Peake is said to be one of the largest vanadium projects in Australia for its scale and resource quality. Significant widths of magnetite, mineralisation and intersecting grades of vanadium add further to this suggestion.

The Northern Territory site is expected to produce 105,000 tonnes of ferro-vanadium.
