ISO9001

In 1988 both sites were amongst the first companies to be approved by BSI Quality Assurance to the Registered Stockist Scheme.

Further enhancement of policy and procedures led to upgrading of both the Sheffield and Birmingham sites to BS 5750 Part 2:1987 in 1992 and to ISO 9002:1994 in 1995.

At the July 2003 review our BSI QA client manager recommended William Rowland Ltd. for upgrade to BS EN ISO 9001:2000.

Continuing our commitment to quality on 13th March 2009 we were one of the first companies to be approved for an upgrade to the current BS EN ISO 9001:2008 standard which was only introduced on 31st December 2008.

Statement of quality policy

The prime objective of William Rowland Limited, is the acquisition of quality assured material, the storage and re-packaging of this material and finally the re-consignment of such material in a range of Ferro Alloys, Metal Powders, Non-Ferrous Metals and alloys.

The emphasis is upon customer satisfaction in that we will supply goods that meet their specification, delivery and price requirements, supported by the company’s technical expertise:
