Auto-Shear Video

Our Darley Shear machine will cut Nickel or Copper cathodes to any size our customers need. The fully computerised system enables us to respond to orders quickly. Whether you want squares in one, two or four inches, the shear cuts to order. Ready-cut sizes mean that your material arrives fit for purpose.

Cutting in-house enables us to buy our Nickel direct from producers or the London Metals Exchange (LME). It’s why we’re able to pass on maximum value to our customers and offer highly competitive rates.

Packing Machine

Flexible and highly accurate, our packing machine enables us to send your order in bags containing 5kg to 50kgs. Typically it will package 5kg and 25kg bags of one-inch nickel cathode for plating applications, however, we can deal with any bespoke weight up to 50kgs. Our bespoke service means that each order reaches our customers fit for purpose in ready to use quantities.

New Build Timelapse

To allow for continued growth and with several new product lines across Alloys and Solders, Metal Powders, Refined Metals and Revert Alloys, William Rowland Ltd has invested £10M in building a new site and relocating to Tankersley, Barnsley. “It was critical we removed the obstacles to our continued growth and put ourselves in a position to help our customers and suppliers grow their businesses. In selecting the site, we had to consider our strongest asset (employees) first as without them we cannot provide the outstanding levels of expertise and service our customers are accustomed to. Additionally, we wish to become an employer of choice, and whilst we are renowned for service and stability, a modern place of work will help with that.” says Richard Lowe, MD for William Rowland.

Get a sneak peek and check out our fresh time-lapse video from the new site quickly getting all ready to move in! We can’t wait. Enjoy!
