The past is our foundation but the future is our focus
From the beginning, innovation has been the driving force for our business. In 1840, William Rowland became the first company to import Swedish iron into Sheffield for cutlery production.
Ever since William Rowland has grown to become an internationally recognized supplier of high quality metals. Our business has expanded to cover an efficient distribution of metals across the world, manufacturing Alloys and Solders in-house in our foundry in Birmingham, and sorting and processing metals for further usage.
Today, we have an international reputation for innovation in the metals trade. In 2012, the arrival of new metal processing equipment marked yet another milestone in our history allowing us to develop our capabilities further. This state-of-the-art machinery has enabled us to deliver refined metals into new markets right across the world.
Our commitment to maintain our reputation as a leading supplier of refined metals, metal powders, revert alloys and alloys & solders throughout the world provides our customers with the assurance that we will be continually investing in people and technology to meet the ever-changing needs of industry.
As our customers’ needs develop, we will adapt and embrace future developments with vigour and enthusiasm.
