Copper Master Alloys

Copper-based master alloys are produced for the copper and brass industry and are used because they tend to dissolve better than their metal counterparts.

As Copper Master Alloy suppliers, William Rowland can supply the following products:

Copper Boron

The main usage of copper boron is in deoxidising copper it also serves as a grain refiner for brass.

Copper Chrome

The main usage for copper chromium is to assist with the precipitation hardening of alloyed copper.

Copper Manganese

Copper manganese is used in a number of applications including the improvement of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of low alloy copper and brass alloys.

Copper manganese is also used as a deoxidiser and desulphuriser for copper nickel alloys, and as a desulphuriser for copper nickel zinc alloys.

Copper Phosphorus

15% Phosphor Copper alloy is widely recognised for its ability in- deoxidizing alloys, increasing fluidity, and inhibiting gas porosity.

Copper Silicon

Precipitation hardening of low alloy copper can be done using copper silicon. This product can also be used to improve castability of brass and copper nickel alloys.

Copper Titanium

Copper alloys and zinc-based alloys can both have improvements to their mechanical properties with the application of copper titanium.

Copper Zirconium

The main usage for copper zirconium is in the precipitation hardening of alloyed copper and as a grain refiner for brass.
